Within welfare technology, A/S Aabentoft constantly works to optimise products to ensure the best possible results for the wheelchair users, whether this be in relation to mobile telephony or to cognitive assistive devices.
Wheelchair users should have the opportunity to operate their own mobile telephone on a par with everybody else. Our mouse simulators make it possible for the user to operate several standard mobile phones. Neither making calls, texting or using the mobile phone’s many other functions are impossible.
Within cognitive assistive devices, we are currently creating a superstructure for our products, which are already user-friendly. For instance, it is now possible to ask, via the computer, to have a window opened or a door closed.
